Does anyone out there have any experience with the new "Battery maintainer (charger) conditioner, (desulfator)?
This is not really a new product but it is supposed to be superior to a "regular" battery charger in that it is totally electronic, and in addition to not overcharging, etc, it has a pulsing curcuit which breaks down the sulphur from the plates.

I too have a motor home (Itasca 34RQ Diesel Pusher) and a Toyota Prius, and we had batt problems here in NB, think I will find one of these combo units and purchase it.

Matter of fact they aren't new as I have one on my 2002 Winnebago. The desulfate function is mainly for deep cycle type batteries and is only performed after a certain number of discharge and recharge cycles or a couple of times a year according to the operating manual.
