Is it true that holding down the "hold" button on your ipod saves more battery?
while you're listening to music and youre doing nothing with the ipod, is it true that putting the hold button on saves more battery?
no it isn't. the purpose of that "hold" button is to prevent from an accidental touch. just when you listen some songs and suddenly you accidentally touch it or bump into something, the music would tend to put on pause or the volume will become louder/lower. sometimes it would jump.
to save the battery is to switch the "backlight off" or set it to automatically off after 2~5seconds. and lastly, do not press the "pause" button only if you will stop listening music, instead press it in a "stop mode" (pressing for about 3seconds to make it a full stop).
