Disconnect Switch Bracket

1982 Goldwing 1100 No spark at wires when disconnected from spark plugs.?
Switching the spark units, supposedly, is the same as switching the coils????
If I reverse the wires (blue and yellow) on the coils I would get back fire (if I kept the spark plugs connected).
Of course I would have to disconnect all spark plug wires in order to reverse the coils.
The biggest problem here is when I remove all spark plug wires from the plugs, there is no more spark from spark plug wire to ground.
This is why I reversed the spark units.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe reversing the spark units does not in-turn reverse the coils.
The only way to reverse the coils, then would be to remove both coils and reverse them on their mounting bracket.
It appears that the spark plug wires (or the coil) is only grounded when the spark plug is inserted into the spark plug hole.
Wouldn't this mean that the coil has lost it's ground???
I'll reverse the coil, if no progress, I'll take it in to the shop.
An ohm meter should tell you if the primary and secondary sides of the coils are ok.If you call Honda a tech. could tell you what the ohm range value should be.
