i have a 00 neon 2.0 auto with no warning died and wouldn't start ?
it was pouring down rain and my car decides it wants to leave me stranded no warning no previous stalling issues and it came completely out of nowhere i backed up to turn around and put it in drive started noving and then the rpms dropped slowly till nothing i checked the relays they were fine the dash lit up the stereo worked the wipers worked but when i turned the key nothing no click so i knew that the starter wasn't getting any juice so i jumped the wires. the starter turned but didnt seem to engage on the flywheel but i also noticed that when i turned the key to on i didn't hear the fuel pump i have mechanical knowlege ive got years of experience in a shop but im stumped i dont really know where else to look other than an electrical problem or a bad computer i dont want to replace nor do i have the money to replace them right now so i want to explore some other alternatives has any 1 had a similar experience or even have an idea i would greatly appriciate it
