Odyssey Alternator Battery

My 2004 Honda Odyssey won't start! What should I try?
I drove it yesterday fine. No warning signs, no flashing lights, nothing. Went to leave to work this morning and not even my power locks work! No power sliding doors, no clock, no radio. When I put the key in an turn to on, no lights on the dash, not even the normal 'click' sound. I tried jumping it, but that did nothing! A friend suggested maybe the key has gone bad therefore throwing everything electrical off? I know my battery isn't bad, just purchased a brand new one in June 09. Has this happened to anyone? Could it be the starter or alternator? If so, would those things throw off the electrical part of the car? Hopefully someone can help! Thanks for reading!
How would I know if it is the alternator? Is there a way to test it at home or do you have to have it towed to a shop? Do you have any clue what those tend to cost?
Honda's are the best but they don't have a 10 year or 100k warranty, sorry Daniel. It's 3 years on batteries no matter what the millage. If you were driving fine yesterday with no problems , I don't think it's the alternator. If the alternator is bad the battery light will be on while driving. If u went to the vehicle and try to start the engine and u didn't have any power at all, I will look at the battery first, specially if is a DIE HARD they do this all the time. The main fuse will be my option #2, if the main fuse went bad or when u tried to jump start if any of the cables were wrong this fuse will blow and u will have this condition were nothing works, lights , locks, radio and all that. If the key goes bad on this model u will have power at the radio and all other accessories and when u turn the key to the start position u will hear the starter motor working and also the engine turning but it will NOT start, It will just sit there and crank but no start, also the green key light will flash while u crank to let u know that it's not reading the key. I hope this helps, Good luck!
