Voltage Regulator Replacing
I just replaced my alternator and voltage regulator, now my fm radio is weak?
I have a 1986 Ford LTD,and I just replaced the alternator and voltage regulator. I have one of those old AM/FM dial radios. After I swapped out those two electrical components, my FM signal pickup is very weak. I used be able to pick up about twenty stations, now I can pick up one, and only when the car is idling. After I stop idling, I lose the station mostly, and the static revs up with the motor. Any ideas?
something in your wiring is either
crossed or touching...
