Week Jumper Booster
Why has my kitten started to try and suckle again?

She is 3 months old and I have had her since she was 8 weeks. When i first got her she idnt try to suckle on anything at all whereas now she seems to do it a lot more, usually to either any jumper or top your wearing or her fleecy blanket. Is it signs of an underlying sickness, I know cats are excellent at hiding illnesses or is it that she has become more comfortable around us? I am trying to discourage her from doing this as I dont want her to ingest wool or anything that will upset her stomach or cause blockages.

She is due to go to the vets this coming tuesday for her booster jabs so I am going to get her looked over anyway. Just want to know what people think.
She is a mix breed short hair, her face is a little squashed, a bit like a persian but other than tht looks like a normal Short haired cat!

My cat is 6 months old and he still sucks on his favorite shirt of mine. My cat is a siamese, is yours an oriental breed too? Oriental breeds tend to "nurse" longer is doesnt mean they're sick, they do it to comfort themselves.
Im not sure how to get them to stop, we let my cat cuz the shirt doesnt have extra fibers so we dont have to worry about blockage but ask ur vet to get him to stop.
